I got the opportunity to taste some of the delicious Food Should Taste Good chips, and for those of you who know me, I love, love, LOVE chips. Any time of day, any day of the week.
The great thing about Food Should Taste Good chips is that they are made from the highest quality, all-natural ingredients. And better yet, all chip varieties are gluten free, cholesterol, trans fat free, and do not use genetically modified ingredients. Yup, eleven: Multigrain, Sweet Potato, Olive, Jalapeno, The Works!, Buffalo, Chocolate, Potato & Chive, Cinnamon, Lime and Yellow Corn.
Yay! Healthy and tasty chips!

Since I slacked on the exercise front all weekend, I went up to the pool to swim some laps for about 20 min. after work. Here’s what I did:
- 12 laps freestyle
- 1 lap sprint, 1 lap easy (repeat 6 x)
- 2 laps butterfly, 2 laps back stroke, 2 laps breast stroke, 4 laps freestyle
- 20 laps freestyle
When I got home I did a couple upper body resistance band exercises:
- Bicep curls
- Triceps extension
- Seated Row
- Front arm raises
And lastly I did a few Bosu Ball planks to get my belly in shape for the beach this weekend!

I did 3 reps for 30 seconds. Hopefully I’ll make it to 1 minute!
Boy did I work up an appetite!
On the menu tonight was veggies quesadillas. I love anything that involves veggies and cheese!
The veggies I used were:

- Onions
- Red peppers
- Green peppers
- Yellow Squash
I also added this hot stuff.

A serrano pepper from my brother’s garden!
To cook the veggies, I heated a pan with evoo and added garlic, then I added all the veggies at once and cooked for about 10 min. I added the serrano pepper at the last minute.

While the veggies were cooking, Chris was a great husband and shredded the cheese. He looks thrilled huh :)

Nylah, on the other hand, took a snooze during dinner prep.

While we were cooking dinner, Chris and I decided that since it was his last night before he begins class, we should celebrate the end of summer with a bottle of wine from our wedding :)

Rather than the traditional guest book, Chris and I had bottles of wine for people to sign at our wedding. Hence all the writing on the bottle! We only choose bottles from Australia because that’s where we met :)

I really enjoyed this as it was not as sweet as some Rieslings are.
So, once the veggies were cooked (I kept them a little cripsy), I heated more oil (1/2 tbsp?) in the pan, and than put one Flat Out wrap on it. Then I layered on the cheese and veggies.

Lastly I put another wrap on top.

And then flipped!

I would say it took 3 minutes per side to melt the cheese fully and brown the outside.
The final product was delicious!

And of course we had to have some Food Should Taste Good chips as a side!

Tonight we tasted The Works! and Multigrain. I had red pepper hummus and salsa as dips as I use these most frequently!
I really wanted to try the Buffalo, Cinnamon, and Lime as well, but none of the stores near me sold them. Next time!
Also, in the past, I have tried Jalapeno, Sweet Potato, and Olive.
Let’s start with The Works!

Good stuff! The taste is very similar to an everything bagel, which is a bagel flavor I order often! I could taste the poppy and caraway seeds without a doubt. They were extremley crunchy and had the perfect amount of salt. I tried it plain first , than had one dipped in hummus and one in salsa. Both of which were equally delicious.
Then I tried the Multigrain.

Just look a all those flax seeds! Yum! I could definitely taste those and the sesame seeds. Both of which I love. I also tried the chip plain first , than dipped one in hummus and one in salsa. I like these with the hummus better for some reason?
It would be really hard to pick a favorite between Multigrain, The Works!, Jalapeno, Olive and Sweet Potato, but if I had to pick I would say The Works! I think it’s the best all-around chip because you can dip it in anything.
Jalapeno is a close second those because of my love for spiciness! Really though, you probably can’t go wrong with any of them!

I think that the Works chips sound great! I avoid buying chips generally because I fear I would overindulge, but these seem like they might pass the test! Thanks!
Hey Meg –
In the interest of full disclosure, that wasn’t a serrano pepper and it wasn’t from our garden. I think that red one was a cayenne pepper and it was from our friend Becca who has a farm with her husband…
If we win – we think the cinnamon chips sound great – we’ve still only tried the multi-grain since that’s all they sell at Costco…
Just bought two bags of the multigrain variety at Costco today! It probably comes as no surprise that they sell bags that are at least 2x (24oz) the size of the bags at the regular grocery store & they’re about $6/each. I’d love to try the cinnamon variety for a change from savory!
I would love to try jalapeno!!
YUMYUMYUM!
I joined the fanclub! Thank you for the giveaway!
is it stone ground corn? ;)
I have read so much about the Food Should Taste Good chips… I am super curious… All the flavors sound great, but since I love spicy foods, I would try the Jalapeno flavor first! :)
I LOVE the wine bottles as guest book idea – what a sweet and creative idea!!
Oh – and I love FSTG chips- my favorite is definitely sweet potato!
I’d love to try the cinnamon!
The Olive chips definitely sound the best. I think I like olives as much as you do peppers!
LOVE FSTG! I’ve only tried Multigrain, but I’m dying to try Sweet Potato!

Sounds to me like the Lime Chips might taste different- lime for me.
The works, the more flavors the better the taste.
