Hi guys! I kind of feel like I need a break from the computer, so here is today in a nutshell!
Nylah passed her interview at Camp Bow Wow today and is allowed back :) Yay!
They sure wore her out!
She didn’t last very long before she passed out.
Lunch was chicken salad made from a rotisserie chicken I bought the other day.
I added celery, craisins, Dijon mustard, S & P and a scoop of plain yogurt.
And rolled it into a Flat Out wrap with some spinach.
Very tasty.
I’m still hooked on the hummus & cayenne!
Only I had it with carrots rather than pretzels this time.
I gave myself a pat on the back for that choice.
Lunch all together now.
After a mid-afternoon snack that consisted of a McIntosh apple, I hit up the gym to run intervals.
My intervals included 3 minutes of jogging and 2 minutes of sprinting. Here’s how it went:
- Step 1 – Run 3 minutes at 6.5
- Step 2 – Sprint 2 minutes at 8.0
- Repeat step 1 – same speed
- Repeat step 2 but increase speed by o.1 during each sprint interval (I did that until I got to 8.5)
- Cool down for 5 minutes at 6.5
Total time = 35 minutes
Total distance = ~4 miles
Once home I did:
Phew!
Then it was time for leftovers!
On leftover flax bran bread. With feta. Mmmm…..feta.
I used Archer Farms chicken sausage and was pleasantly surprised!
This was good stuff! And one link is only 80 calories and 3.5g of fat! Yup, I’ll be buying this again.
Tonight was the perfect night for leftover soup. Cold & rainy! Hello Ida!
I may be persuaded to have some dessert later… we’ll see.
I’m off to give my eyes, wrist, and fingers a little break!
Q for U – Which do you prefer- feta or goat cheese?
Enjoy your night and see ya in the morning for What is it Wednesday!

That chicken sausage does sound good! I love goat cheese :)
Love your puppy photo!
I love both feta and goat cheese. Lately I’ve been preferring goat.
Apparently I need to get a BOSU ball. You are the second blog that has mentioned one today. I’ve tried them, I like them, it’s a done deal!
Your puppy is adorable!!! I prefer goat cheese… hands down.
Love your lunch plate–both its contents and the pretty dish beneath it!
I used to be a feta gal but I totally prefer goat cheese now! Something about the creaminess compared to feta!
Feta, I think it crumbles easier. I thought I liked hot and spicey, but you’ve got me beat with the cayenne pepper. Camp Bow Wow what the heck is that?
feta feta and more feta! mmmm!!!
i love that chicken salad, it looks wonderful, i love adding fruit to it too!!!
So funny, but we have a camp bow wow here in MI too!!! :)
Camp Bow Wow is the kennel she’ll be staying at while we’re in Boston over Xmas. They required that she be “interviewed” first :)
