Good morning!

A couple housekeeping items -

First, the correct answer to yesterday’s WIIW was RICE! You guys are smart :)

Second, have you tried Barney Butter before? Check out Gina’s blog and enter to win a jar of this delicious almond butter!

I have yet to try Barney Butter and want to win very, very badly. So I will not be upset if, in fact, you are unable to make it over to Gina’s blog :)

And now a quick recap of dinner last night.

Chris and I were both at Fuqua until 8 p.m., so we decided to pick up some pizza and salad from Randy’s on the way home for dinner.

IMG_5134 Even though this pizza doesn’t really look that appetizing, it is SO GOOD! And the slices are humongous!

The random piece of pepperoni was stolen from one of Chris’s slices :)

IMG_5135 And as you can see I added some red pepper flakes!

We also got a small Greek salad to share.

IMG_5132 On top was:

  • Tomato
  • Cucumber
  • Banana peppers
  • Feta

And it comes with the best Greek dressing EVER.

I believe there may be some leftover salad for lunch today. Yesssss.

So get this -

When I woke up this morning my stomach was growling at me, and you know what? I really, really wanted a big bowl of cereal!

Ahhh! But we have no cereal in the house! Drat. It was really  the only thing I wanted for breakfast this morning. Not oats, not eggs, not nothin’. Just cereal.

Note to self – even though you do not eat cereal every.single.day anymore, keep at least one box in the pantry at all times!

So I was forced to make some pumpkin oats this morning, which turned out to be wonderful :)

IMG_5139 For one, I used:

  1. 1 cup water
  2. 1/4 milk
  3. 1/2 cup rolled oats
  4. 1/4 cup pumpkin
  5. 1 tsp agave nectar
  6. Lots o’ cinnamon
  7. A handful of craisins
  8. Crushed almonds

IMG_5140 I forgot about cereal very, very quickly.

IMG_5136 X marks the spot!

And what a good spot it was.

Did you know?

Did you know that grapes can whiten teeth, fight off colds and even smooth out wrinkles?

grapes

I definitely had no idea that they whiten teeth! According to Health.com, “the malic acid in grapes naturally breaks down stains and discolorations on teeth,”

Good thing I like grapes! To learn more about the benefits click here.

Enjoy your Thursday!
